Director of Engineering
Plans, defines, and develops engineering
objectives, and is responsible for the translation of these objectives
into specific plans and tasks for activation in the company’s
Engineering Department. Has responsibility for the designation and
development of necessary human and capital resources to support the
strategic plan, and for ensuring that personnel receive the necessary
training. Originates and assists in the preparation of design concepts
for specific applications, and reviews product designs to ensure
procedure reliability and ease of manufacturing. Ensures that procedures
account for the development of needed engineering drawings and
specifications for the manufacture of different components and products,
and directs staff in preparing manufacturing drawings, specifications,
and assembly instructions. Specifies needed laboratory test equipment,
reviews test data, and directs product improvement to achieve better
manufacturing economies and product reliability. Develops engineering
strategies to support product needs, analyzes and reviews new product
feasibility, and develops new projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering or Electronics Engineering;
• Five (5) years engineering experience with gaseous fuel
engines/systems, vehicle applications, as a Sr./Specialist Engineer,
Product/Project/Service Manager
or equivalent occupation;
• Experience must include minimum two years engineering management.
